COLOR BLOCKING for the Not So Brave

The Color Blocking trends has been all over the place recently. If you are not familiar with it, think skittles and m&m's color palette.

Not everyone is brave enough to pull off this trend though.
If you want to jump in the bandwagon but you don't want to be all out, I suggest you start with a bag.
Yes, a bag. Candy Bags have been famous these days and its something that I think you should have in your closet.

Even if you are just wearing your t-shirt and jeans or your little black dress, a splash of color courtesy of the candy bag will add magic to your look.

We specifically love this Color Block Candy Bag from LMDV.

Yellow and Red reminds us of Happiness and Passion. This bag will really put a smile on your face and express your fashion. Just for Php550.00, this is definitely worth it.

How to wear tights

Living in a tropical country, I've never thought I'd come to point where in I am considering wearing tights. More than considering, I actually bought one. Just the cheap version though since I don't want to spend my money on something I might not even get to wear.

Most of the people I see who wear them come from a country who snows at least once a year. But during lazy days were in I'm not in the mood to wax my legs, tights will definitely come in handy

I decided to browse through the net to see how people all over the world wear them.
I've seen several on the runway.

Although colorful tights can break monotony, I can't get myself to wear them.
Since I'm new to this tight-wearing habit, I've decided to wear black tights.
Upon making the decision, another question came about. Plain or with designs?

I think I'll go with this one.
Hope to post outfits soon :)

Bodycon Love

My favorite piece of clothing as of the moment is my velvet bodycon dress similar to this one:

For some reason, whenever I wear this dress I become transformed into a new person. I feel confident enough to face anything. It is my perfect LBD.

And for this reason, I am addicted to bodycon dresses now. Not just any bodycon dress. I want long sleeve bodycon dresses. Its sexy without showing too much skin. The way it fits your body shows the world what you have to offer. The coverage of the sleeves allows you to be mysterious, like saying to the world thats for me to know and you to find out.

Last night when I was out in the mall, I chanced upon this dress and fell in love with it.

This is not the actual dress because this is from Topshop. The one I saw was from People are People. Its a lace longsleeve dress with scoop back. The lining of the black version is nude so its so sexy. I want it! I'm too thrifty to buy it though. I hope I see one in Ukay. :D

Other bodycon dresses I love:

D&G F/W 2010

I was browsing to the Fall/Winter 2010 Collection of the different designers. I must say, Dolce & Gabbana's RTW Collection is my favorite since it fits my style. I am a lace and satin lover. And their color tone of black, gold and beige brown is just perfect for me.
