What to wear to the Mango FW 2011 Fashion Show?

I'm off to the Mango Fall/Winter 2011 Fashion Show at Resorts World Manila tom night. Special thanks to my beloved friend Myrrh who is styling for the said event. I'm so proud of him. Its a bit sad though that due to his busy schedule, we barely get to hangout.

Now I can't decide what to wear. I have to items in the closet I want to wear. My Navy Polka Dot trousers and my Draped Nude Skirt. 

Nude is Myrrh's peg so I wanted to show all out support by incorporating it with my outfit. I plan to wear it with a black sheer top.

The pants is part of Mango's latest collection I think so it will be perfect to wear too.

Now I'm torn.

Pre- Christmas Wedding

My relatives (mother side) came home from abroad to attend my cousin Tin's wedding.

It has been really fun these past few days because we get to hangout alot. We had a pre-wedding dinner with the cousins, complete attendance. Just this Sunday, we had another get together at our house right after Maia's dedication. Will post about it next week.

And last week was the wedding of course.

PFW S/S 2011 Penshoppe

The Premier C Collection was my most anticipated show during PFW. 

The boyfriend had to cancel accompanying me last minute. I was sad and irritated but good thing my friend Cristina who went to my house Saturday morning to catch up with me decided to tag along too.

I dressed her up with a lace maxi skirt I got when I was still in high school! I paired it with a tank top, black belt and gold chain necklaces that I made.

And look what I found a few days after at Forever 21's blog....

We thought Premiere C starts at 7:30, it turns out its still at 9:30. Good thing we were able to go in and watch the Penshoppe show.

PFW S/S 2011 Oxygen Show

It was a last minute decision for me to watch this show. I invited about 5 people to join me, but no one was available that night. Not even the ever reliable beau. Good thing Ava was able to accompany me that night. 

We were able to meet Thea from Manila Bulletin. She mentioned that they are brewing a blogger's even this month. I hope we will be able to attend it.

PFW S/S 2011 Premiere A Collection

I know its a bit late but I was swamped with work regarding the event I am organizing.

This is my favorite from his collection.

Simple yet elegant.

I've seen alot of silver for this summer. I guess the table has been turned. Silver usually associated with fall/winter while gold is associated with Summer. Nothing's impossible with fashion ;)

Now our outfit post.

I was planning to wear black, but since I am wearing something corporate, I wanted to incorporate color so that it won't be too boring. I mixed this season's caramel color with red. Something not usual for me.
