The European Trip

So last Saturday night, we were supposed to have dinner at Marcia Adams Tuscany. But something not good happened again. It turns out, they're prices have changed. They now have a consumable 700 per person. That would  have been fine if they allowed credit card. We are not the type that carries thousand of pesos in our wallet so a dinner for 8 persons at 700 per pax at Marcia's just can't be. I don't know why but every time I try to dine there, it doesn't push through. Oh well. So we moved to Manos Greek Taverna.

Unlike Marcia's, Manos is a very simple place. Just white and blue paint and simple furniture. My Parisian outfit still fits in though. Good thing I settled for a shirt instead of a dressy top.

We stayed in Tagaytay last weekend and we rented a small townhouse. I stayed at the attic of the house. Its just a simple attic and there's just a bed in it but I love it. I love the sunshine peeking though the windows and the white wall and sunroof that's perfect for taking outfit shots.

So here's what I wore.

Hello! Hello!

My day started fairly well even though I lacked sleep. Our Bible study ended late last night but it was ok since we had a very interactive discussion.

So why did my start well, I was able to try my new french press and had champorado for breakfast. Yum Yum. Champorado is my ultimate comfort food. It reminds me of my childhood days.

I wish I have my camera with me right now so I can take a shot of my oh so comforting breakfast.

How time flies so fast. Its already middle of the week. Only 2 days to go before the weekend. Yipee!

I'm looking forward to a lovely weekend in Tagaytay with my family too. I hope it won't rain so that I can take tons of photos. We are having dinner at Marcia's and I am so so excited. I've been planning to visit this place for the longest and finally I'll be able to dine there.

Forgiving yourself

Its hard to forgive someone who has hurt you especially if that person is very close to you. Its hard to imagine how a person close to your heart, who supposedly loves you can cause such pain.

But its doubly hard to forgive yourself for hurting someone you love. You feel regret and guilt for causing pain to the one you love. You beat yourself up everyday hoping that it will lighten the burden of the one you love.

So how do you cope? You remind yourself everyday that with God's grace everything's been forgiven. You just lift everything up to Him. You may not be ok right now, but be assured that it will be someday.

The sun rises everyday.

Bacolod Outifts in a Nutshell

So last weekend I went to Bacolod. Its my last out of town trip before the rainy season takes over.

Below are the outfits I wore during the trip.

 The Black and White Striped Maxi Dress is from Forever21. The Black Floppy hat can be ordered from me for Php200.00. The Black Satchel is a Vintage Find. It was supposed to be for the store but I decided to keep it.

The first photo was taken when our plane landed. The second one was taken at The Ruins, my dream wedding venue. :)

Below is a Vintage Dress with Ribbon at the back. I wore denim shorts with it. The sling bag is a vintage bag and is available for sale at LMDV.

First photo was taken at our resort, Palmas del Mar. The second one is at the boating area of Mambukal Resort.

The outfit I wore when we boarded the plane back to Manila is a Bodycon Pinstriped dress with Ruched Shoulders and Ribbon Details at the back.

I try my best to wear lovely outfits when I'm travelling. You'll never know when you'll find picture perfect spots.

Palawan: Day 1

We left Manila last April 15 to go to Puerto Princesa to be part of the 1st Tribal Youth Camp.

I went there with Fuse. Fuse is a non-stock non-profit organization that I belong to.

I wore a gray striped shorts from a Bazaar, Fox Vneck Tee, Thrifted Denim Vest and my new gray boat shoes espadrilles.

We had to prepare things to be used for the camp so we were not able to go to the Underground River on that day as originally planned. We just played near the beach at the camp site.

Where are you off to this weekend?

Changes

For those of you who are not aware, I've been working with the same company for more than 3 years now. Its actually the first company I worked for. I really enjoy working with the people there but I feel like I should not exceed working there for 4 years. It will be my fourth year this coming May and I was hoping I'll be gone by then. At first I wanted to move to a higher paying job. Late last year though, I knew I'll be working on my business full time should I decide to leave my job.

Its premature yet but I am excited. We are looking at acquiring a business which I will be managing full time. Its scary but its something I look forward to. We actually had a meeting with the owner this morning.

I am still praying about it because I don't want to rush things. Please pray with me :D

We dropped by Mercato to buy some things afterwards. I got the Sunflower Beauty Oil of Human Nature. Hopefully it will work. I want to remove the dark circles under my eyes :)\

Anyway, here's what I wore.

By the way, I finally colored my hair. It was so overdue. I love the color.

This is a late post. Last Saturday we spent Earth Hour at home. We did some light painting in the dark and we were features in the news last Sunday. 

But before that, I went to our Church for a discounted annual check up.

I've been busy with work these past few days. Had to go Tagaytay for a an exhibit (will post photos soon). It was a combination of work and play though.

Finally reunited with the family today and did our usual Sunday routine. Thanks to the new C6 road, it only took us 30mins to go to Alabang from our house. We passed by the Taytay road our village in Pasig which leads to C6. The C6 road ends in Bicutan. Its a good thing for me since my 2 best friends live there. It will be easier for them to visit me :)

And because of this new route, we were able to go home early and I was able to catch the sun again. Yipee!

Blue Jeans and Camel Suede

I've been wanting to wear this combination for a long time. Didn't have the right denim polo. I just bought this Denim polo for my beau as a monthsary gift last month. I was the first one to wear it. LOL.

I paired it with my thrifted Camel Suede Pants, Ichigo Clogs and Necklace from Fabricate, my soon to open store.

After I wore this, I saw this photo online.

White Shirt and Maxi Skirt

I've been wearing a lot of these White Shirt and Maxi Skirts Combo recently.

I love this combo because it is low maintenance but still its more feminine compared to white shirt and jeans. This  also saves me from shaving my legs often just to be able to dress up. ;)

The white shirt in this photo is from Fox. The floral sheer maxi skirt is thrifted. I paired it with my taupe/light gray clogs from Parisian.

Weekend Fiasco

How was your weekend?

Mine was a crazy one!

I was planning to rest Friday night and the whole Saturday. I was looking forward to fixing my room and update my blog. I was excited to have my Me time.

Unfortunately there was a fiasco at work that started Thursday Night. We thought it will be okay by Friday Night. To our dismay it extended until Saturday. We had no choice but to go to work on a Saturday even though we went home really late last Thursday and Friday.

To de-stress, I did some shopping.
I visited Topshop and found this dress on sale.

I've been looking something like this for a long time since I can't afford this one. To my surprise it was on sale for Php599.00. It was several sizes too big though. But I don't care. I'll just have it adjusted or I'll probably wear a belt. This one really made my day.

Time for some outfit post.

The black sweetheart cut with lace detail is a bazaar find. The gray Mossimo skinny pants was a gift from my sister.Shoes was the one I got from Forever 21.

Here comes the sun

Now that Holiday Season is over, we are now back to our Sunday routine of going to church in the morning then having lunch and shopping in Alabang.

Last Sunday, something unfortunate happened to me. I had a major attack of menstrual cramps. The pain is so excruciating that I cannot eat nor walk. Good thing they allowed me to rest at the nursing area of the lounge. When the meds I took finally worked, it was time to go home so I wasn't able to roam around the mall.

We ended up going home early and I decided to take advantage of the sun peeking through my windows.

I wore a wool tartan Maxi Skirt from Worthington, a thrifted bag and a studded belt. The necklace is part of my debut collection for Fabricate which will be out by this month.
